During my time at design school, I took a course that focused on the user interface and user experience of a restaurant app. I noticed that one of my favorite local coffee shops in Riverside, CA (Coffeecito House) did not have a mobile ordering app. I then decided to study the typical format and usage of current mobile ordering apps for restaurants and began app prototyping my version of an app interface using the software platform Figma for the first time. I enjoyed learning new software while studying user experience and what makes a good, easy-to-use appstudying a new software while studying the user experience and what makes a good app that is easy to use, especially for locals in the Riverside area.
